In the middle of the Périgord Noir, 12 km from the wonderful town of Sarlat and 500 m from the Dordogne river, our big farm house is waiting for you. We converted this typical farm into a very nice self-catering cottage. All year long, you can rent our 10 cottages that can each welcome from 3 to 6 people. During summer time, you may enjoy the big swimming pool.

Thanks to its big capacity (50 people), to its big area and to its calm, the house «La Riviere Espérance» will satisfy couples, families and friend groups. Pets are welcome as long as they are friendly. Our gites have different capacities. We let you choose the one that suit you the best.

This cottage has a 60m² area. On 1st floor, there is : A living room with TV, hi-fi, a fireplace. A fully equipped kitchen. A cellar with a washing machine. On 2nd floor : A bedroom (double bed, single bed). A bathroom (shower, toilet, washbasin). Outside : terrace, garden furniture, barbecue. Two other people can sleep on the quality double sofa bed.

The most famous tourist places of Périgord are near our lodging. Capital of Black Périgord, Sarlat is universally known for its exceptional inheritance. 352 listed monuments in the surroundings. A myriad of possible tourist visits. Between the very many castles, the caves and pits, museums the splendour of the landscape at the edge of the Dordogne river, you will miss time.

Wild gravel beaches to bathe you in a water pure and vivifying. In a wild landscape where silence is listened. You will be able to fish, look at fish, water is so clear. The Dordogne is one of the rivers of Europe among cleanest, full of fish. The castle of Fénelon is located on the commune of Sainte Mondane, near. The castle of Beynac perched on its cliff incontestably dominates the valley of the Dordogne, most beautiful, especially the morning in the fog which rises with the tops of the walnut trees.
