L'Etable (part) 2-5 is bright, sunny, cheerful and uncluttered accommodation with exposed beams, heating and woodburner for your winter visits, and simple but very comfortable furniture It has a bedroom with 5' double bed and a good sized living room with sofa beds. There is a separate fully fitted kitchen with washing machine and a bathroom with bath and shower. Outside you have your own south facing terrace with garden furniture. Your entrance and terrace are completely separate and far away from those of the studio.

There is a large garden with plenty of trees which offer ample shade if needed. L'Etable(whole) 4-7 is the above with additional adjoining accommodation opened up to give a further bedroom/living room arranged as a studio with a kitchenette and shower room, which can also be rented separately. In this case, outside the french windows you have 2 terraces with garden furniture, 1facing north and west with full views across the fields to the sunset, the other facing south.

This lovely cottage is set in rural surroundings with the river Charente 300m down a small track. There is a little stony beach into the river from which you can swim, canoe or fish. Several excellent golf courses and horse-riding centers are within easy reach, the nearest being only 15 mins away just outside the beautiful Roman town of Saintes, where you can find indoor and outdoor pools and plenty of other things to do. The countryside is ideal for cycling as there is little traffic.
