Pech Gary Bas is a newly converted traditional farmhouse for 6 people which sits high on a hillside overlooking the picturesque and sleepy village of Castanet. The house is secluded within over a hectare of private land, offering a relaxing and tranquil location in the heart of rolling French countryside and woodland with spectacular views over the hills and surrounding area.

Clauzel is close to the nearby villages of Monteils and Parisot which both have bakeries, small grocery shops and, very importantly, good family-run restaurants! 20 minutes away the bustling market town of Villefranche de Rouergue offers good shopping, restaurants and sightseeing. The airports of Rodez and Toulouse make Clauzel an easily accessible holiday destination.

Newly restored with exposed beams and original stonework, the house retains an abundance of traditional charm yet offers excellent modern facilities and amenities. There are 3 double size bedrooms and 3 bath/shower rooms with exceptionally spacious living rooms and a fully equipped modern kitchen.



The ground floor of the property is extremely spacious. It offers a secluded sitting room with big sofas, perfect for reading quietly or playing family games in the evening. This leads through to a dining room with a long family table which in turn opens onto a large, open plan family living room and a fully equipped kitchen with gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There are plenty of fitted kitchen cupboards for storage and a breakfast bar for sitting at and chatting to the cook!Leading off the family room is a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom (bath, wc and basin) and views across the countryside. There is also another large shower, basin and toilet.

Cancellation Policy
Subject to Clauses 1 & 2 above, in the event of a cancellation refunds of amounts paid (excluding initial deposit) will be made if the Owner is able to re-let the property. The Client is strongly recommended to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy (including cancellation cover) and to have full cover for the party's personal belongings, public liability, etc, since these are not covered by the Owners' insurance.

To reserve the property, you should complete and sign the Booking Form and return it with payment of the initial non-refundable deposit. Following receipt of the Booking Form and deposit, we will send a Confirmation Statement.
The balance of the rent, together with the security deposit (see Clause 3), is payable not less than 8 weeks before the start of the rental period. Reservations made within 8 weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of the booking.
A security deposit is required in case of, for example, damage to the property or its contents - this amount will be included in the pricing details on the Booking Form.
However, the sum reserved by this Clause shall not limit the Client's liability to the Owner. The Owner will account to the Client for the security deposit and refund the balance due within 2 weeks after the end of the rental period. This contract shall be governed by English law in every particular, including formation and interpretation and shall be deemed to have been made in England. Any proceedings arising out of or in connection with this contract may be brought in any Court of competent jurisdiction in France.
