A wealthy Parisian built 'Manoir Sainte Cécile' at the end of the 1800s on the site of an old gendarmerie. The house and excellent accommodation sit in their own private grounds and lands of 10 acres with mature trees, pond and original cidre pressoir .
The property lies in the breathtaking french countryside and is on a direct route from Paris to Mont St Michel, between the famous historical medieval town of Domfront and the beautiful spa town of Bagnoles de L'Orne.

The Manor House provides all types of accommodation for anyone seeking a warm welcome and relaxing holiday in central Normandy from stone gites in the courtyard to very comfortable bedrooms in the main house.

There are places to visit to suit all tastes and interests, quaint villages where time seems to have stood still, to beautiful beaches and enchanting chateaux.

There are large area of forests and parks ideal for walking and cycling, while Mont St Michel is an hour by car to the west, the D-Day Landing beachs are 1.5 hours to the north, Versaille and Paris is 2.5 hours to the east, and Le Mans is 1.5 hours to the south.

We are 7 kms from the renown and very picturesque Thermal Spa town Of Bagnoles de l'Orne that offers treatments for rheumatism, blood and circulatory problems for clients from France and further afield; or one day treatments for stress and relaxation.

We have three double bedrooms with ensuite showers and toilet facilities in the main house on the second floor.
One further double bedroom with separate shower and toilet facilities is available on the ground floor of the converted stables. All rooms are tastefully and comfortably decorated and furnished in the french style and are supplied with tea/coffee making facilities.

One bedroom with two single beds is also available on the the same floor - ideal for families with children.

A generous continental breakfast is included in the price and is served in a beautiful dinning room or on the veranda overlooking the garden and courtyard.
We can recommend some excellent local restaurants for your lunch and evening meals.
We are available all day to make your stay an enjoyable one in our lovely home.

Price is 70 Euros per night for a double room for two people, including a generous continental breakfast ( fruit juices, tea/coffee or chocolate, choice of cereals, yoghourt, fresh fruit, fresh bread, a variety of croissants, pain au chocolat, pain au raisins, pepitos depending on availability, home made jams) served in the dining room of the Manoir.
Price for single occupancy is 50 Euros per night.
Additional beds in the same room are a 25 Euro supplement.
