Our Holiday home in France is a charming village house located in the south of France in the village of Saint Sulpice les Feuilles, which is set in the delightful, rolling countryside of the Haute-Vienne department of the Limousin, the green heart of France. Situated in the foothills of the Massif Central, Limousin is a paradise for nature lovers.

Famous for ‘Limoges' porcelain and ‘Aubusson' tapestries, it also offers many natural heritage sites (Dordogne Valley, Regional Parks of Millevaches and Périgord-Limousin) and some of the Prettiest Villages of France such as Saint Benoit de Sault which is located close by. Limousin is also known as 'the land of a thousand lakes' and wherever you are in the region there will be one close by.

Most are bathing lakes with clear, clean water and often with sandy beaches. The region is relatively undiscovered where the quintessential old-fashioned image of rural France still exists with its beautiful scenery and quiet farming villages. Discover its medieval villages, granite churches, magnificent countryside, great local produce and wonderful restaurants and enjoy the tranquility at your leisure.

This lovely 3 bedroom home has been entirely renovated, well appointed with all the modern conveniences and furnished with flair. It also has a lovely sunny south facing courtyard garden with table, chairs and a barbecue to enjoy a glass of champagne or a cool glass of beer. The house has thick stone walls which will keep you cool in summer and warm in winter. To keep you extra toasty warm during the winter, there is oil fired central heating.

Each bedroom has been tastefully furnished for your comfort. Sleeps 6 comfortably. 2 bedrooms with a double bed, bedside tables, lamps, wardrobe, chair each, electric fan and hairdryer. 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (can be made into King on request), chest of drawers and lamp. Lovely views over the garden. Wash away your worries in the lovely bright bathroom. Bath with two shower heads, Bathroom cabinet, Toilet.

Large open plan kitchen/dining to enjoy meals together. Fully equipped kitchen - well stocked with good quality products including fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle. Sit under the large shady wisteria and enjoy a cool glass of champagne or beer and watch the world go by Small table and 6 chairs, Gas BBQ, Storeroom. Separate utility/laundry room with space to fold your clothes.

This charming french village house for rental is located in centre of Saint Sulpice les Feuilles, a busy little village located in north of the Haute Vienne, a department of Limousin in South West France. All your needs are covered within a couple of minutes walk - supermarkets, boulangeries, butchers, post office, news agency/tabac, bank, florist, hairdressers, petrol stations, estate agents and a couple of little bars/restaurants in the town centre.

The beautiful ancient town of La Souterraine is located just 15 km away. La Souterraine has the added convenience of a larger supermarket; the SNCF train station that connects you all over France; a weekly market in the town centre where you can buy from the local producers; a cinema; a few more restaurants and several picturesque cafes with their terraces on the main street. An inviting place to take in a glass of wine on a sunny afternoon.

The Limousin region is largely undiscovered part of France of stunning natural beauty rich with history and tradition, charming chateaux and ancient churches. It gets its name from Lemorices, large tribe of people who lived here at time of Gauls. Known as French Lake District, verdant countryside filled with valleys, ravines and forests provides everything for nature enthusiast and lakes and rivers are not only beautiful, but also mean there is lots to do for those who enjoy walking riding and water sports.

Shorter or longer term rentals can be negotiated, subject to availability.

3 nights minimum starting from 70 euros per night.

Easter and Christmas weeks are 600 Euros per week.

Cleaning is charged at 60 Euros per stay.

There is a 40% deposit payable at the time of booking with the balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival.

If the booking is within 6 weeks of arrival, full payment will be required.

A fully refundable bond of 300 Euros is also required to cover any breakages or damage.
