The Old Mill

Built in the eighteenth century was built by a servant of Baron Fleckenstein, who, in gratitude, attributed to the servant of land and a tidy sum of money. Enough money to build two mills for his daughters, one grain (the current mill), and the other oil ("The Oehlmühle" a hundred feet below). Finck Lina is a descendant of this line of millers. In the twenties, it is primarily the Sept Fountains waters that have experienced glory, supplying drinking water to surrounding villages, and since 1978 the activity of farm inn has given a new lease operations.

In 1991, the oil mill has returned to the family and has since transformed into guest rooms and meeting room. Lina Finck has always lived on this farm, where we already welcomed walkers and holidaymakers. This is his grandmother who has unveiled ancestral recipes, "she was terribly severe, but because of it, I could get involved in the restaurant business, which pleases me enormously."

Finck family has specialized in the production of Charolais suckler cows as part of a charter "Asset Quality Certified." The herd consists of around fifty heads grazing throughout the summer. In the winter comfortably housed in free stall cows and their calves are fed mainly on hay produced on the farm.

Other animal production are present on the farm: pigs, rabbits, chickens and ducks. On the other hand there also produces fruit (apples pears, walnuts, plums, plums) and potatoes. Much of these products are used at the inn.
