We invite you to stay at our beautifully renovated, traditional Haute-Savoie chalet on the edge of Morillon, just a 50 minute drive from Geneva.

Chalet Mautalent can act as the perfect venue for either a Winter (fully catered) or a Summer (self-catered) holiday.

WINTER

During the Winter, we offer you a tailor made, fully catered holiday for parties of up to 15 people. Bedrooms can be booked on a room-by-room basis, or a group can book exclusive occupancy of the whole chalet. During the 2011/2012 season you will be looked after by our son Daniel and his girlfriend Jessica.

Chalet Mautalent is ideally located in a gorgeous situation. We are 800 metres from the Morillon telecabine which accesses the 265km of pisted slopes in the Grand Massif mountain range. We will drive you to and from the lifts each day.

It is the food more than anything that our guests return to Chalet Mautalent for and Daniel and Jessica have designed a fantastic Winter menu, with the help of Daniel's brother Tim. Tim is a professional chef who currently works at Heston Blumenthal's world famous restaurant The Fat Duck and his influence is very evident in our delicious food.

For breakfast, there are continental and traditional cooked options every morning. A choice of freshly baked croissants and pains aux chocolats, plus homemade muesli, cereals, and yoghurts are always available, as is a cooked option such as eggs benedict, crepes or kedgeree.

At the end of a tough day's skiing there is a selection of goodies awaiting your return. Warm yourself up with a tea, coffee, or hot chocolate, and tuck into some cake.

Every night you can look forward to feasting on a wonderful four courses plus coffee and accompanying petits fours. We also have vegetarian and children's menus available on request. You are offered complimentary carafes of house wine throughout supper, plus we have an additional wine list for you to choose from. We also have a house bar with a selection of beer and soft drinks. Children are welcome to soft drinks during supper without charge. An early meal for kids can be provided if desired.

SUMMER

During the Summer, we offer our chalet on a self-catered basis for groups of up to 12 people. Exclusive occupancy of the chalet must be taken.

Chalet Mautalent is located in the Giffre Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty that is protected by the French Government.

Guests can enjoy taking advantage of our breakfast terrace which catches the morning sun and our outdoor barbecue.

Outdoor activities in the area include mountain biking, swimming and leisure parks, road cycling, rock climbing, horse-riding, trampolining, fishing, mountain trekking, paragliding, mini golf and tennis.

FACILITIES

Chalet Mautalent’s traditional Haute-Savoie architecture has enabled us to create a wonderful open plan sitting room and dining room. Our guests' first reactions are normally about the sheer size of our living area.

This space is the ideal place to relax in front of a DVD or curl up in the corner and read a book. Guests can check emails on the free WiFi, watch English Sky TV on our plasma screen and plug their Ipod into our Ipod dock. Our large bootroom works as a ski room in the Winter (with enough space for 15 pairs of skis and 15 spaces on our heated boot rack), and a secure storage space for bikes and other gear in the Summer. During the Winter our guests can also use our brilliant outdoor hot tub.

Easyjet, British Airways, Air France, Swiss Air, BMI Baby, Aer Lingus (from Dublin only), and Duo (from Edinburgh only) all fly direct to Geneva Airport. You can reach Morillon from Geneva airport by public bus (www.gare-routiere) for 35 euros each way. C

WINTER PRICES

The prices listed are for one person, based on two people sharing one room.

Prices include: 7 x nights accommodation, 7 x breakfasts, 7 x afternoon teas, 6 x suppers (your hosts have one evening off per week), towels and linen, shuttles to and from ski lifts, free use of the chalet facilities such as hot tub, Sky TV, WiFi and heated boot room.

Children aged 12 and under receive a 10% discount and everyone who shares a room between three people receives a 10% discount.

SUMMER PRICES

The prices listed are the total price for exclusive occupancy of the chalet for groups of up to 12 people.

Prices include the following: 7 x nights accommodation, use of fully equipped kitchen, beds ready made on arrival, towels and linen, free car parking, use of the chalet facilities such as outdoor barbecue, Sky TV and WiFi.

DEPOSIT

For Winter bookings, we ask for a deposit of £100 per person at the time of booking. FFor Summer bookings, a deposit of 20% of the booking value is required. Full payment is then required no later than eight weeks before arrival. If you book less than eight weeks in advance, we ask that you pay in full at the time of booking.

Payment can be made either by online bank transfer or cheque. Details will be provided.

We ask that the chalet is vacated by 11am on the day of your departure.
