Family and wheelchair-friendly village holiday home in the village of St Germain les Belles, 30 minutes south of Limoges. Sleeps 14 within 6 bedrooms, 5 of which have ensuite bathrooms. Shops, swimming lake and tranquil country lanes a short walk away.

Although the house is in the heart of a village with shops and restaurants, you will have the best of both worlds. Once you step out of the back door, the peaceful views of open countryside really make you feel that you are in a completely rural location. During the warmer months (May to September), this lake can provide really great (and free!) entertainment for families with children. In July and August, there is also a bar, where during the day, you can buy snacks and ice creams and in the evening enjoy regular music and dining events.

There are many other swimming lakes, beaches and outdoor swimming pools in our area. Beautiful Lake Vassiviere, Europe's largest man-made lake, is only 45 minutes away and is also the site of the national contemporary art gallery.

For the outdoor enthusiast, looking for a more active holiday, there are numerous things to do and beautiful places to see. Bicycle hire is available within the village and there are many local routes through quiet country villages. The abundance of lakes and rivers also means that there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy fishing, canoeing and sailing.
