Owner-run, boutique chalet-hotel featuring comtemporary design in a rustic setting, 8 bedrooms, sleeps 24, spacious lounge/bar & dining room, superb home cooking, hot tub and sauna.The Auberge sur la Montagne has been newly redecorated in 2009 to create a boutique-hotel style in a harmonious mix of contemporary and traditional design. Our spacious lounge with its 200 year old wooden beams has comfy sofas, a fully stocked bar and a huge fireplace.

It has been restyled in colours that reflect the local scenery - slate grey, sky blue and snowy white. Our candle-lit dining room has been redecorated in tones of cool grey with contemporary bright accent colours. We have a separate Kid's Den with squashy bean-bags and Sky TV (terrestrial & free-to-view channels), a state-of the art hot tub and sauna, a sun trap south-facing terrace, garden, boules court and eight guest bedrooms sleeping up to twenty-four people.

We are in the Tarentaise valley, one of the most easterly and spectacularly beautiful parts of France, in the Alps right up against the Italian border. The mountain resorts of Sainte Foy, Val d'Isère, Tignes, Les Arcs and La Rosiere are all within easy reach, as are the Vanoise National Park, and the Petit St Bernard and Col de l’Iseran mountain passes in summer.
